The Art of The Start

Today I finished reading The Art of the Start by Guy Kawasaki.  This book was referred to me by a Wharton School of Business representative after I inquired about resources for early-stage entrepreneurs.  I enjoyed the book and found it to contain a great deal of useful info, but none more important than the author’s suggestion to take action.  I intend to follow this advice.

Some favorite quotes from the book:

“They are atheists when it comes to a new religion because they are the high priests of an old order.” – Guy Kawasaki

“The person who is waiting for something to turn up might start with their shirt sleeves” – Garth Henrichs

“There really is only one question you should ask yourself before starting any new venture: Do I want to make meaning?” – Guy Kawasaki
